What exactly does Paz Billing need from our office to file paper and electronic claims?
Each week or as often as you like, you mail or fax Paz: insurance registration forms and superbills. Once they are received, Paz will file the claims (within 72 hours). Once the insurance company has processed the claim they will send you an Explanation of Benefits and payment. Fax Paz a copy of the Explanation of Benefits so that we can post payments to your account and follow-up on claims as needed.
What is a Superbill and how is it used?
A Superbill is a sheet of paper that lists all the services provided to a patient during their ante partum, delivery and postpartum care. Some practitioners keep the Superbill in the patient’s folder and add information every visit. While other’s complete the Superbill after the baby is delivered -- usually after the newborn screening (PKU) visit.
I don’t have a Superbill, can Paz supply one?
Absolutely. Paz has several styles to choose from: maternity, well-woman, a one page Superbill or comprehensive multi-page Superbill.
I’m in a different state then Paz, how does that work?
You might wonder if it would be too complicated to have a biller who isn't close in proximity. With each of Paz’s clients, we have been able to work out a system of passing information back and forth that works well for both parties. Give us a try, so that you can find out for yourself that it's not a big deal.
